Our Story
Welcome to our Farm!
The Davison family has made maple syrup here on our farm for over 110 years. Although we now use more modern sap collection techniques, pipelines instead of buckets, we still produce pure maple products the old-fashioned way here at the camp.
Since opening our Pancake House in 1995, we’ve shared our enthusiasm for ‘Sugar Season’ with thousands of guests throughout the region and across the world during these six special weeks each year.
Our Location
Welcome to our Sugar Camp!
We are located in located in Halfway River Nova Scotia on the back side of Newville Lake just off Highway 2. We are roughly a 40 minutes south of Amherst and 1 hour 15 minutes west of Truro.
Our Products
We sell our products year round here on the farm and our restaurant is open from mid February through April. We sell a wide assortment of maple products. We also sell our frozen wild blueberries, maple BBQ sauce, and wild blueberry sauce. Visit our online store!
